Working at construction of Concrete Faced Rock Fill Multipurpose Mohmand Dam having Electricity production capacity of 800 MW and will help in flood mitigation, Irrigated agriculture development of 16,737 acres having worth of 224.43 Billion. The scope of the project includes the construction of Concrete Faced Rock Filled Dam, Gated Spillway, Powerhouse, Switch yard and Transmission System, Power Supply, Diversion Tunnels and Irrigation Tunnels.

Worked as a Site Engineer for excavation of Irrigation Tunnel, Re-Regulation Pond, Spillway and LBAR through drilling and blasting.
Monitored drilling activities with correct drilling parameters (angle, depth, spacing and burden)
Prepared design of surface and pre-split blast with non electric initiation system firing pattern, blast circuit and charge concentration.
Monitored charging carefully to get the required fragmentation and to control fly-rocks.
Blast vibration monitoring with Instantel Vibration Machine keeping in view the allowable PPV values limits.
Daily reporting to consultants on complete blasting operations (Post blast report, explosive consumption & blast vibration data).
Maintained the explosive fortnightly records which is requirement of Government.
Worked on Explosive Licensing (Possession and Renewal) of 2 magazines as per Explosive Rules, 2010.

Being a part of the construction team of DAELIM, my major job responsibilities are as follows,

Inspect drilling and blasting areas for unsafe structures, equipment, and working conditions.
Select locations and plan drilling and blasting operations, specifying processes, labor usage, and equipment that will result in safe, economical, and environmentally sound blasting and production.
Supervise and coordinate the work of survey personnel and engineers of sub-contractors.
Prepare schedules, reports, and estimates of the production involved in developing of roads and tunnels.
Monitor daily production rates to assess operational effectiveness.
Select and develop extraction and production methods, based on factors such as safety, cost, and deposit characteristics.
Following and Implementing Permit to Work system, PTW issuance for blasting after checking safety requirements.
Continuous co-ordination and meetings with HSE team for safe drilling and blasting operations.
Responsible for the mucking and scaling of the tunnel face after blasting at tunnels.
Responsible for the safe, economical and efficient excavation, loading and transporting of material.
Maintain the inventory of explosives and its record up to date.
Daily reporting to consultants
Maintain the explosives record which is the statutory requirement of Government.
Overseeing the health and safety of the site, particularly in relation to issues such as ventilation, falling materials etc.
Recommending alternative solutions and appropriate action to be taken.

Worked as Mining Engineer on limestone quarry including Drilling Blasting Loading and Transportation of material to fulfill limestone requirement of crusher.
Monitored loading of blasted limestone on dump trucks to the crusher (cycle time, loading/dumping time).
Managed schedule maintenance of dump trucks on regular basis to enhance operations flexibility.
Developed new faces and benches along with the main haulage road for the smoothness.
Checked drilling of holes, angle, depth, burden, spacing and calculate charge concentration/hole.
Designed blast pattern and executed safe blasting operation following local rules and regulations
Checked Safety Parameters at Quarry while charging and connection of a round.
